Its compact size allows it to pass through standard garden gates and narrow gaps as small as 3 feet, making it a great option for tighter spaces. Additionally, the generous 200-litre rear-mounted grass collector reduces the need for frequent stops to empty the collected clippings, allowing you to focus more on the mowing itself.
One of the standout features of the Apollo 84H is its innovative twin-bladed cutting system. This system efficiently cuts the grass twice, resulting in smaller clippings that are easier to collect or perfect for mulching. The dual blades follow the contours of the lawn more precisely than a single blade, resulting in a neater, shorter finish and reducing the risk of scalping the grass. The blades also create higher air volume, improving grass collection efficiency and ensuring the grass collector fills up more completely, with more grass and less air.
Powered by the reliable Stiga ST400 OHV engine, the mower offers impressive performance. With seven preset cutting heights ranging from 25mm to 80mm, you can easily customize the mower's cutting height to suit your lawn’s needs. Engaging the cutting blades is simple, thanks to a pull-out switch on the dashboard. For safety, a breaker switch beneath the seat automatically shuts off the engine if you leave the seat, while a dashboard switch lets you manually turn off the blades.
Maneuvering the Apollo 84H is effortless, thanks to its lightweight, compact design and tight turning circle of just 160cm, which makes it easy to navigate around corners and obstacles. The reverse gear allows you to position the grass collector close to your compost heap for efficient emptying. The hydrostatic transmission, which operates similarly to an automatic car, allows you to adjust the speed by simply pressing or releasing the pedal. The reverse function is conveniently activated by pressing the back of the pedal.
If you prefer mulching to collecting grass clippings, the Apollo 84H has you covered. The optional mulching plug will turn the tractor into an excellent mulching machine. The twin-bladed cutting system ensures finely cut grass that is returned to the lawn to decompose and provide vital nutrients. This not only saves you time by eliminating the need to dispose of clippings but also provides a natural, cost-effective alternative to commercial lawn care products. We suggest that opting for mulching can save you about 30% of your time compared to collecting clippings.
The Apollo 84H also includes a nozzle for cleaning, as well as a special washing link for cleaning the cutting deck, keeping maintenance simple and easy.
