The 4-stroke Honda GCVx170 engine runs on standard unleaded petrol (E10 or E5). We strongly recommend using fresh fuel treated with a petrol stabilizer to prevent ethanol oxidation during storage. The engine requires standard 10W-30 4-stroke lawnmower oil. Do not mix oil into the fuel tank, as this is a 4-stroke engine with a dedicated oil sump.

How do I maintain the MicroCut twin blades and cutter deck?

Inspect the twin blades regularly for wear or dulling and sharpen them at the start of each season for a clean cut finish. After each use, clear away packed grass clippings from the underside of the cutter deck. Always disconnect the spark plug lead before touching the blades or performing deck maintenance.

Ride-On Mowers - We charge a minimum rate of £69.00 (for smaller garden riders) and £79.00 (for garden tractors) for all Start 'N' Go orders. This service is available to most mainland England and Wales postcodes. We cannot currently offer this service to any Scottish postcodes.
