The shaft drive transmission is much better and longer lasting than the traditional belt drive systems and reflects Lawnflite’s commitment to producing high end products that work harder, for longer.
A unique feature of this Lawnflite Pro 553HWS lawn mower are the larger than average alloy wheels - enabling you to work easily over rougher ground and increasing the ground speed as well. The wheels are heavy and well balanced allowing to to mow in neat lines, if you wish to.
Another one of its stand out features is the 2 speed gearbox which allows you to select the most appropriate speed for any condition you find yourself up against. There are four Lawnflite mowers in the wheeled range, but only the 448HW, 553HWS and 553HWS-Pro have 2 speed shaft drive giving selectable speed to allow for different conditions. Some additional features of this Lawnflite Pro 553HWS are the strengthened handle brackets, a deck liner for extra protection and a front bumper bar which again helps protect the deck from any bumps, knocks and accidents.
The 53cm/21" cutting deck together with the top quality and reliable 5.5hp Honda engine ensure you can work quickly and efficiently in lots of different terrains The engine is designed to be long lasting, hard working and extremely efficient on fuel. Great news for your pocket, and the planet!
The 75l collection bag is made of fabric which makes for improved airflow which ensures the collection system is as efficient as possible, even in damp conditions. The strong handles are comfortable to work with and can be folded down to ensure easy transportation and are great space savers when it comes to storing this Lawnflite Pro 553HWS in your shed or outbuilding.
Built to professional standards this Lawnflite Pro features a blade brake clutch, which means that the clutch mechanism stops the cutter blade but leaves the engine running allowing you to complete tasks such as emptying the collection bag without having to turn off the engine. You can even drive the mower over gravel or pathways in this mode. The large diameter wheels can easily cope with rough, bumpy uneven ground.

Ride-On Mowers - We charge a minimum rate of £69.00 (for smaller garden riders) and £79.00 (for garden tractors) for all Start 'N' Go orders. This service is available to most mainland England and Wales postcodes. We cannot currently offer this service to any Scottish postcodes.
Everything else - We charge a minimum rate of £29.00 for all Start 'N' Go orders which are being sent to UK mainland addresses (England, Wales and some Scottish addresses*).
Our premium Start 'N' Go+ service is available on certain products to most of England and Wales. Products that receive this service will be assembled, tested and personally delivered by one of our team on our own transport. We will also fully demonstrate the product for you. Delivery is usually 3-5 working days (if ordered Mon-Fri, stock permitting) but during quieter times this can be much sooner.
