Stihl has enough experience in the garden machinery business to know that certain features simply don’t need an upgrade and so in our opinion the RMA 2 RV is a great example of old and new technology coming together to produce a rather remarkable lawn mower. The generous and traditional 46cm/18” cutting width for example, is generous enough to easily cope with a medium sized lawn, and the customary carrying handles will be especially advantageous for when you need to transport it, and they are also suitable as lashing points for safe and easy transportation.
This expert mulching lawn mower can mulch the grass and return it to your lawn as a very fine mulch where it will act as a natural fertilizer, giving your lawn every chance it needs to grow green and healthy. You are unlikely to need additional lawn care products so you will be saving time, effort and money. The mulched grass is 100% organic and therefore chemical free, which is of course better for the planet and safe for wildlife, pets and children.
You can adjust the cutting height using the updated quick-fix quick-release tensioner and the speed is variable via the innovative Electric Vario wheel drive which is incredibly easy to use and convenient too. There are six working levels to choose from ranging from 2.0 – 3.0 / 3.7 / 4.5 km/h - so not only can you select the correct speed for the job in hand, but you never need to use more power than you need, which is a great energy saver. There is also an “Eco” mode which you can select at any point and once activated it will automatically adapt the speed to the required power, meaning that the battery will last even longer before it needs charging.
As you can probably tell from the design, the Stihl RMA 2 RV is incredibly lightweight and easy to maneuver and will make your life so much easier. Despite the special lightweight frame and the impact-resistant housing made of sheet steel, it offers a high level of robustness for those more heavy-duty applications. This ingenious design instantaneously forwards any movement while steering, which makes the lawn mower very responsive and easy to operate.
For your comfort, the quick fix clamping handlebars can be easily adjusted to suit the users height and stature and at the end of the day they can be folded down in seconds with no need for tools. This means that the Stihl RMA 2 RV can be stored away in a small space in your shed, taking up as little room as possible. It’s also easy to transport in a car or van in case you need to work away from home, like on an allotment for example.
The Stihl RMA 2 RV mulching lawn mower features easy running wheels which are extremely hard wearing. They feature a traction pattern and directional stability tread pattern for effortless manoeuvring and perfect line holding during mowing. This will enable you to cut in nice straight lines if you want to.
For your comfort and safety the Stihl RMA 2 RV is fitted with ergonomic super soft grip handlebar and an attached motorstop lever - as soon as the handle is released, the motor automatically switches off the lawn mower, and this offers you great peace of mind because you know that if you let go of the handles, the engine cuts out and they blades stop.

Our premium Start 'N' Go+ service is available on certain products to most of England and Wales. Products that receive this service will be assembled, tested and personally delivered by one of our team on our own transport. We will also fully demonstrate the product for you.
