Stihl has incorporated an innovative ematic chain lubrication system, it provides maximum lubrication, longer wear and less oil consumption compared to conventional methods of chain lubrication. The oil consumption can therefore be reduced by up to 50%. This saves you money but is also kinder to the planet. You’ll notice the filler cap has been upgraded to one that can be removed without the need for tools, so now you can top up whenever you need to and with the greatest of ease.
The Stihl MSA 220 C-B cordless chainsaw features a great safety; the quick stop super chain brake gives additional braking power for added safety. The operator simply triggers the chain brake directly from the rear handle. This stops the chain in a matter of seconds whenever the user lets go of the rear handle or whenever there is sufficiently strong kickback or when the front handguard is activated. This innovative and unique safety feature ensures greater user protection whichever position you are working in.
