The new Stihl HLA 135 cordless hedge trimmer is part of the Stihl professional range of garden tools and is ideal if you need to work in noise sensitive areas such as churchyards, schools, hospitals or any public areas. It offers reduced noise and the minimum of vibrations and is therefore ideal for heavy duty work as it is easy and comfortable to operate.
With a total length of 249cm and a double-sided cutting blade length of 60cm, you can keep your feet firmly on the ground when you need to work on overhanging bushes, and you can also access those out-of-reach areas safely and easily. The cutter bar features a magnesium gearbox and can be easily adjusted in increments at a 145° angle.
The Stihl HLA 135 cordless hedge trimmer is the most powerful cordless long-reach hedge trimmer in the Stihl professional range and is aimed at busy professionals who need to cut shrubs or bushes as well as plants near the ground. In fact it’s a great all-rounder and can cover a wide range of trimming and pruning jobs with the greatest of ease and the minimum of fuss.
Simple and trouble-free to operate, you'll be pleased to note the cutter bar can be adjusted through 145° to allow for head-height, side and ground-level cutting. Stihl suggests when you use the recommended fully charged AP 200 battery you can expect around 64 minutes, depending on the intensity of the job in hand of course.

The Stihl HLA 135 is easy to get going, simply slip in the battery to the casing and you’re good to go. At the end of the day the cutter bar can be folded in and locked for space saving storage and transport. It won’t be at risk of damage during transport or whilst in storage.
Whether you are trimming vertically or horizontally you can do so safely. The tip protectors take care of the tips while working in contact with the ground. The blade guard protects the blades when in storage or being transported.
