The Ego HT2000E 51cm hedge trimmer is perfectly capable of cutting thick stem widths thanks to its 25mm blade gap and laser cut, diamond ground blades and single speed cut. The dual action, single-sided cutting blade this hedge trimmer is ideal for precision cutting of small-medium sized hedges.
You’ll easily be able to slice through unruly stems for a great finish and the blade protector will stop you damaging any fencing or brickwork if you get a bit too close. This allows you to work in confidence and get as close as you need to to achieve a perfect finish.
Thanks to the innovative EGO Power+ 56V Arc Lithium ion battery which can be clicked into place in any of Ego’s products you’ll be able to select the best tool for the job every time with the very minimum of fuss.
The Ego HT2000E is also incredibly lightweight, weighing only 4kg when equipped with a 2.5AH battery. The 2.5Ah battery will give you a run time of around 75 minutes and charges up quickly. You can select more powerful batteries if you require a longer run time, for example the 4.0AH battery offers a run time of upto 120 minutes and the most powerful battery which is a 7.5AH offers a maximum run time of up to 225 minutes.
Powered by a highly efficient brushless motor you can expect a smooth and quiet experience with much reduced vibrations and absolutely no fumes to contend with as you work. Cordless power is efficient better for the environment and you won’t have to work near a power source or worry about filling with petrol.

Ego are a global organisation with a 20 year history of delivering professional quality and breakthrough technology have spent over 10 years researching, developing and perfecting their industry-leading cordless range. Their aim was always to convert dedicated petrol and electric users to their innovative cordless range. Running costs are approximately one tenth of those for petrol powered equivalents. This factor, plus reduced noise, vibration and a total absence of operating emissions, is a compelling environmental argument in favour of Ego.
The whole range are powered by the same 56-Volt, Lithium Ion batteries which are an industry first. These batteries can achieve 100% charge in 30 minutes and can be interchanged between each Ego product to really utilise the benefits of the battery.
Ego’s product range includes, a lawn mower, two grass trimmers, a chainsaw, a hedge trimmer and two leaf blowers. You can choose from three 56 volt batteries (2Ah, 4Ah, and 6Ah), and either a standard or a fast charger.

Ride-On Mowers - We charge a minimum rate of £69.00 (for smaller garden riders) and £79.00 (for garden tractors) for all Start 'N' Go orders. This service is available to most mainland England and Wales postcodes. We cannot currently offer this service to any Scottish postcodes.
Everything else - We charge a minimum rate of £29.00 for all Start 'N' Go orders which are being sent to UK mainland addresses (England, Wales and some Scottish addresses*).
Our premium Start 'N' Go+ service is available on certain products to most of England and Wales. Products that receive this service will be assembled, tested and personally delivered by one of our team on our own transport. We will also fully demonstrate the product for you. Delivery is usually 3-5 working days (if ordered Mon-Fri, stock permitting) but during quieter times this can be much sooner. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed on the following Monday (or Tuesday if a bank holiday). We will contact you to book your delivery in.
