Ideal for gardens of up to 1800 m² thanks to the powerful Honda engine and the generous cutting width of 51cm. The variable speed allows you to change the speed to suit the conditions and 7 cutting heights that range from 30 mm to 80 mm ensure that you can achieve an accurate finish even if your grass has grown longer.
Complete with MaxAirflow technology which ensures that cutting and collecting is better than ever, the grass is finely cut and then thrown right to the back of the grass catcher in an arc, unlike a traditional system which keeps the grass cuttings low, and not always reaching the back of the catcher. This innovative MaxAirflow system makes use of every single bit of space in the grass catcher, therefore it will be filled to 100% capacity. This means less trips to empty the catcher, which means fewer interruptions.
The AL-KO Premium 521 VS-H is comfortable to work with thanks to the XXL wheels with ball bearings which will keep you mowing in straight lines with the greatest of ease. Another great attribute is the ergonomically shaped handlebars which will make controlling the lawn mower easier and will put less strain on your hands, arms and shoulders as you work.
The innovative 4-in-1 system on the AL-KO Premium 520 VS-H means that you can choose to mow, mulch, collect or side-discharge the clippings. Your choice will very much depend on your needs, and the needs of your lawn. If you choose to collect then the 70 litre grass catcher is more than ready for the job and it features a grass full indicator so you won’t need to worry about it getting clogged up. If you are in a hurry then you can simply discharge the clippings back onto the lawn, there will be no trips to the compost heap to empty the collector, allowing you to work quickly and efficiently.
If you choose to mulch - which incidentally is recommended throughout Spring and Summer to ensure your lawn remains at its healthiest all year round - then you will be essentially fertilizing as you mow, saving you time, effort and money as you won’t need to buy additional lawn care products. The mulched grass is 100% organic and therefore eco-friendly and safe for pets, children and wildlife. The mulched grass is rich in the nutrients your grass needs to look its absolute best and also its worth noting that mulched grass is essential for the health of garden friendly creatures such as worms and bugs.

Full Catcher, Fewer Interruptions
MaxAirflow technology means that the lawn clippings are thrown to the back of the grass catcher, as a result of which it is filled to the top and does not have to be emptied so often.
It's a matter of height
Extra tall, extra large – that's the basis for MaxAirflow technology . This is because the extra tall steel plate deck and extra large discharge channel increase the airflow by 42 percent. As a result, the grass clippings are not transported at a low level into the grass catcher as in the case of most standard lawnmowers, but are instead thrown backwards in a high arc and remain at the back. This means the grass catcher is effectively filled from the back, without the discharge channel becoming blocked. Another bonus: The removable service flap for convenient mower maintenance.

Everything else - We charge a minimum rate of £29.00 for all Start 'N' Go orders which are being sent to UK mainland addresses (England, Wales and some Scottish addresses*).
Our premium Start 'N' Go+ service is available on certain products to most of England and Wales. Products that receive this service will be assembled, tested and personally delivered by one of our team on our own transport. We will also fully demonstrate the product for you. Delivery is usually 3-5 working days (if ordered Mon-Fri, stock permitting) but during quieter times this can be much sooner.
