The AL-KO comfort 42.1 P-A is a versatile petrol driven rotary lawn mower for the busy gardener with a small to medium lawn. Offering plenty of bang for your buck, it has lots of clever features to ensure mowing the lawn is as easy and hassle-free as possible. An ideal machine for the first time buyer, it is simple to operate and easy to manoeuvre. The steel deck is sturdy and can take the odd knock or scrape and it also ensures that the lawn mower will last for a long time.
The top feature of the AL-KO comfort 42.1 is the innovative 3-in-1 system that allows you to choose from collecting in the very generously sized 60 litre grass collecting bag, mulch using the included mulch plug or usethe rear discharge function. If you choose to collect then it's worth noting that a handy grass bag full indicator will let you know when it's time to empty it, this saves you from over filling the bag and becoming clogged up and difficult to empty.
The rear discharge function is great for when you are in a hurry. The cut grass will wilt naturally on your lawn and return vital nutrients back to your grass. You won’t need to interrupt your mowing to empty the grass bag and therefore you’ll save time, effort and hassle. This is also useful if your grass is damp or long.
The AL-KO comfort 42.1 P-A features a generous 42cm (16inch) cutting width that will allow you to cut the lawn in no time at all and yet is compact enough to get round garden obstacles with the greatest of ease. This lawn mower from AL-KO is lightweight and features extra-large wheels with ball bearings for added stability and accurate mowing. Being hand-pushed means you will be fully in control at all times which is essential in tighter spaces.
Fitted with a reliable and hard wearing AL-KO Pro QSS 123cc petrol engine that offers 1.9kw of power, you can expect excellent performance and ultimate fuel efficiency. AL-KO recommended that the Comfort 42.1 P-A is ideal for lawns of up to 800m2. The rotary blades are fast and efficient and will ensure you can achieve a nice neat finish on your lawn.
The 7 cutting height positions range from 25mm - 75 m and therefore you can find exactly the right position to suit the conditions of your lawn. They are easily adjusted using the individual lever.
The AL-KO comfort 42.1 P-A lawn mower features ergonomic handles that have been especially designed with your comfort in mind. Ride-On Mowers - We charge a minimum rate of £69.00 (for smaller garden riders) and £79.00 (for garden tractors) for all Start 'N' Go orders. This service is available to most mainland England and Wales postcodes. We cannot currently offer this service to any Scottish postcodes.
Everything else - We charge a minimum rate of £29.00 for all Start 'N' Go orders which are being sent to UK mainland addresses (England, Wales and some Scottish addresses*).
Our premium Start 'N' Go+ service is available on certain products to most of England and Wales. Products that receive this service will be assembled, tested and personally delivered by one of our team on our own transport. We will also fully demonstrate the product for you. Delivery is usually 3-5 working days (if ordered Mon-Fri, stock permitting) but during quieter times this can be much sooner. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed on the following Monday (or Tuesday if a bank holiday). We will contact you to book your delivery in. Please ensure you provide a daytime contact number on your order.
