This model has an impressive 0.9 kW power rating yet somehow manages to be the lightest KombiEngine in the STIHL range. We love the Ecospeed setting as it regulates the working speed and therefore economises the fuel usage and running costs and just keeps the tool running at a nice steady pace, making it ideal for commercial use. This lower speed setting also decreases flying debris, which makes it ideal if you need to work close to a wall or window.
The Stihl KM 94 RC-E KombiEngine multi-tool is outstandingly flexible and versatile; choose from pole pruner, hedge trimmer, power sweep - you’ll soon have your garden under control and looking great in next to no time. Having chosen your preferred engine and handle, select the KombiTool(s) most suited to your current needs. You can purchase further Kimbitools at a later date as and when you find the need for them. It’s worth noting that this innovative system is also compatible with our tried and tested split-shaft brush cutters.
You’ll love the loop handle that gives you complete control and the ability to work with speed and accuracy with reduced strain and stress on your back or arms. You will also find working in tighter spots easier, such as between bushes and shrubs.
The hard-wearing engine features a stratified charge system. A fuel-free layer of air is created between the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase, which reduces the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle. Therefore you are assured of more power but a lower weight, and up to 20% reduction in fuel consumption and reduced emissions, when compared to a conventional 2-stroke engine.
The Stihl KM 94 RC-E KombiEngine multi-tool is easy to start thanks to the simplified starting system. Simply set the choke, pump the fuel primer, pull the starter cord and away you go! If you need to take a short break the ignition will activate automatically when you come to re-start for your convenience.
The Ergo-start reduced the effort needed to start the tool by half, the starter cord can be pulled at just one-third of the normal force so you can forget those awkward starts that you might be used to. All it takes is two fingers and a gentle pull action. The manual fuel pump can be pressed to further reduce the amount of starting strokes needed.
