Engineered for absolute accuracy, this Stiga A 5000 is perfectly at home in built up areas as it has been designed to memorise the GPS signal quality at different times of the day and then will intelligently plan for optimal mowing times. This autonomous mower keeps up constant communication with its reference station through a reliable 4G connection. There are six razor blades, attached to a wheel rotating at 2400 rpm. Crafted from a specific metal compound which retains a sharp edge they have a long and useful life and are easy to replace. They are free to rotate which means they won’t be at risk of coming into contact with any objects whilst the mower is at work. Each Stiga 5000 comes with a generous 4200 mowing hours included - these expire after 3 years and you can top up more from the App.
Take some time to go through the different functions on the Stiga Go App. This is where all your control will happen - such as different cutting heights, stay-away times or exclusion zones. If you choose to activate the grass care cutting path function to automatically alternate mow patterns you’ll find this to be useful for maintaining a neat and healthy lawn. If you set stay-away times or exclusion zones your Stiga A 5000 will soon learn when and where it's best to mow and it’s also simple to use voice controls instead via your Alexa.
Fully integrated with Alexa, this Stiga A 1500 robotic lawn mower offers a full 750 mowing hours included and expiring within 1 year. Simply use the APP to purchase further mowing hours as and when you need them. This incredible robotic lawn mower knows exactly when, where and how to mow your lawn, leaving you with more time to spend on your hobbies or with your family. It can skillfully mow up to a 1500 sqm lawn in just two cutting sessions a day, and the next cutting session will always start where the first one left off, so you can be assured that all the grass will be cut.
For your peace of mind the Stiga A 1500 robotic lawn mower has been sound proofed and for when you don’t want the A 1500 around, simply use the APPs “stay away” setting to tell it where to avoid and at what times. This is great if you are having a party for example and you’d rather Stig-A stayed out of the way. This Stiga A 1500 has been designed to expertly memorise satellite orbits and signal strengths as well as noting any signal blockages throughout the day and this means that it can plan where it is going to mow to ensure the utmost reliability and accuracy.
Powered by the reliable and long lasting Stiga E-power lithium-ion battery, this Stig-A can easily cope with lawns of up to 1500 sqm - using two cycles in one day. The battery has been designed to offer reliability and durability so even after 1500 chagrin cycles which is approximately four years of use, this battery will still operate at 80% capacity. For your convenience, you can easily remove the outer shell without the need for tools. If you are using water to clean it, always keep it in its working position, (wheels down) but if you are just using a brush for the blades then it's fine to turn it over.
If you’re relaxing in the garden while your A 1500 is busy mowing, excellent sound insulation keeps motor noise within the machine. Or for days when you’ve got people over for a party, you can use the app’s stay-away setting to tell the mower what areas to avoid at what times. When it comes to maintenance and cleaning, the sturdy outer shell can easily be removed without tools and it’s also safe to clean with a garden hose.
A 900 hours connectivity pack is included with the robot, allowing it to work and connect for one full season.

Being cable-free, you just need one finger to modify the virtual perimeter for your STIGA A 1500. You can also control other functions of the robot, such as excluding zones from cutting sessions and setting stay-away times.

Stiga have been associated with garden machinery for well over 80 years. In March 1934, Sweden, Stig Hjelmquist started the company ‘Firma Fabriksprodukter’ which became the foundation of Stiga AB. The original business concept was ‘newsworthy products of good design and good quality, with advertising that is better than our competitors.’ This business concept was designed to permeate through the whole of Stig Hjelmquist’s business life.
In 1938 the company name was changed to Stiga and the very first Stiga table tennis products were produced. In 1943 Stiga were producing table tennis equipment under their own management, but a few years later they began cooperating with the Swedish TableTennis Association.
In 1954 Stig Hjelmquist imported the first motorized lawn mowers with horizontally rotating blades from the US. That became the starting point of Stigas most successful line; garden machinery.
Over the next few years Stiga continued to work on their table tennis line and produced the first table hockey game. But in 1964 they began their own line of lawnmowers which was incredibly successful. Roughly 400 machines were produced every day.
Stiga became established abroad and sales offices were opened in London and Helsinki, Finland. In 1975 Stiga launched the very first Park: Park 2000, a ride on lawn tractor with a front deck which revolutionized grass cutting in Nordic countries
By 1976 Stiga’s new factory was a massive 34,000m2 making it the biggest factory in the Nordic countries producing motor driven lawnmowers.
Stiga became the biggest manufacturer of lawn mowers in Europe by 1986. They introduced the first mower with the Multi-clip technology, and the first radio controlled mower.
By 1997, Stiga were represented in roughly 40 countries, including New Zealand, North America, South America and Eastern Europe.
Now, Stiga are owned by the GGP Group, manufacturer of one of the largest range of lawn mowers and garden machinery in Europe. GGP UK Limited distribute all Stiga garden machinery in the UK.

Everything else - We charge a minimum rate of £29.00 for all Start 'N' Go orders which are being sent to UK mainland addresses (England, Wales and some Scottish addresses*).
Our premium Start 'N' Go+ service is available on certain products to most of England and Wales. Products that receive this service will be assembled, tested and personally delivered by one of our team on our own transport. We will also fully demonstrate the product for you.
