One touch is all it takes to carry out a variety of tasks such as starting the motor and adjusting the cutting height or speed. But our favourite innovative and unique feature has to be that even the grass can be emptied at the touch of a button - that’s right, finger on button and whoosh! your grass is safely deposited wherever you want it to go. It sounds simple because it is - and this clever design is just a small part of what puts this Stiga Estate 798e in a class all of its own.

Expertly powered by the modern long-lasting STIGA ePower batteries, this Stiga Estate 798e can manage lawns of up to 7,000sqm, or around 110 minutes on a single charge. You’ll notice the absence of knobs and levers on the LED dashboard, these have happily been replaced by a simple to use electronic dashboard, meaning every control is now literally at your fingertips.

The unique Stiga electric powertrain and one pedal drive system work in harmony to take care of those larger gardens. You can also take advantage of the new Stiga smart cutting mode that allows you to choose from three different blade speeds to suit your task, boost, standard or eco (which uses 40% less energy) can be chosen at the touch of a button. The patented blade motors give a high performance and the seven electric cutting heights with continuous adjustment from highest to lowest in just five seconds, ensure a neat and precise cut every time.

This Stiga Estate 798e is an absolute dream to drive and a pleasure to own. Savvy phone users can even download the Stiga.GO app and from this you will be able to easily check on the efficiency and runtime on the go as you work, from your phone, thanks to the Stiga “Vehicle Management System” that performs constant diagnostics, records data and communicates with the handy Stiga.GO app to give you all the information you need as you work.

You can recharge the batteries in just 3.5 hours and of course the Stiga E power battery pack is tested to extremes to deliver market-leading performance even after 500 charging cycles (meaning almost 10 years of weekly usage, if maintenance and recharging are performed following the user’s manual). STIGA ePower

Smart, safety tested and synched with STIGA products, ePower is the next generation in batteries. Tests we run on ePower batteries are 5 times tougher than Industry standard requirements, to ensure the highest quality standards in terms of performance, reliability and battery health through time. Our batteries are efficient, as we optimised and secured the position of each individual cell; safe, as we created space to allow air to cool; and smart, as we we developed and tested the electronics and software that controls the cells. They power longer and live longer, thanks to a smart energy management operated by all machines and tools running on interchangeable ePower batteries.

STIGA Smart cutting mode

All STIGA electric tractors, Swift and Gyro are equipped with the STIGA Smart cutting mode function. While mowing, you can adjust the blade speed on 3 different settings, depending on the result you wish to see and on the conditions of the grass you are taking care of. Availabe speeds are Standard, Boost and Eco-Mode (which helps improving energy-efficiency). You can choose the blade speed directly from the dashboard, by simply pushing a button. A green LED-indicator will let you know at which speed you are cutting - you can change it anytime you want, while mowing.

STIGA Smart recharge schedule

When plugging your STIGA electric tractor in the garage or in your garden shed, you might prefer a certain timing for recharge, in order to save money on energy supply: open the STIGA.GO App on your smartphone and choose the Smart recharge schedule function so you can easily schedule a time slot for your tractor to recharge. It will only recharge in the given timeframe.

Use your smartphone as a dashboard while driving, thanks to the STIGA.GO App! About Brand

Stiga

Stiga have been associated with garden machinery for well over 80 years. In March 1934, Sweden, Stig Hjelmquist started the company ‘Firma Fabriksprodukter’ which became the foundation of Stiga AB. The original business concept was ‘newsworthy products of good design and good quality, with advertising that is better than our competitors.’ This business concept was designed to permeate through the whole of Stig Hjelmquist’s business life.

In 1938 the company name was changed to Stiga and the very first Stiga table tennis products were produced. In 1943 Stiga were producing table tennis equipment under their own management, but a few years later they began cooperating with the Swedish TableTennis Association.

In 1954 Stig Hjelmquist imported the first motorized lawn mowers with horizontally rotating blades from the US. That became the starting point of Stigas most successful line; garden machinery.

Over the next few years Stiga continued to work on their table tennis line and produced the first table hockey game. But in 1964 they began their own line of lawnmowers which was incredibly successful. Roughly 400 machines were produced every day.

Stiga became established abroad and sales offices were opened in London and Helsinki, Finland. In 1975 Stiga launched the very first Park: Park 2000, a ride on lawn tractor with a front deck which revolutionized grass cutting in Nordic countries

By 1976 Stiga’s new factory was a massive 34,000m2 making it the biggest factory in the Nordic countries producing motor driven lawnmowers.

Stiga became the biggest manufacturer of lawn mowers in Europe by 1986. They introduced the first mower with the Multi-clip technology, and the first radio controlled mower.

By 1997, Stiga were represented in roughly 40 countries, including New Zealand, North America, South America and Eastern Europe.

Now, Stiga are owned by the GGP Group, manufacturer of one of the largest range of lawn mowers and garden machinery in Europe. GGP UK Limited distribute all Stiga garden machinery in the UK.

The quality of Stiga’s machines is second to none. The lawn mowers are built to get the job done efficiently and safely with no fuss and no time wasting. They feature powerful Stiga engines or other well known top brands such as Briggs and Stratton or Honda. The range includes hand pushed models and self propelled machines to choose from.

Stiga also offer a very innovative range of front deck mowers. They’re built for accurate mowing and getting into areas which are often harder to reach.

The Stiga compact lawn riders are really easy to use, offering great manoeuvrability and forward visibility and the Stiga garden tractors are packed with high performance features.

Ride-On Mowers - We charge a minimum rate of £69.00 (for smaller garden riders) and £79.00 (for garden tractors) for all Start 'N' Go orders. This service is available to most mainland England and Wales postcodes. We cannot currently offer this service to any Scottish postcodes.

Everything else - We charge a minimum rate of £29.00 for all Start 'N' Go orders which are being sent to UK mainland addresses (England, Wales and some Scottish addresses*).

START 'N' GO +

Our premium Start 'N' Go+ service is available on certain products to most of England and Wales. Products that receive this service will be assembled, tested and personally delivered by one of our team on our own transport. We will also fully demonstrate the product for you. Delivery is usually 3-5 working days (if ordered Mon-Fri, stock permitting) but during quieter times this can be much sooner.
