The Stiga Estate 584e comes jam packed with a wealth of state-of-the-art features and offers the discerning gardener a new high in mowing the lawn. Part of the Stiga “Experience” range, the bar has been set extremely high with this outstanding battery operated garden tractor - offering you plenty of power and a stress-free operation. Representing everything that is great about Stiga, this lawn tractor is robust, expertly designed and made and will last you for a very long time, therefore it’s excellent value for money and will give you great results on your lawn.

Driven by the premium STIGA 40Ah (Li-Ion) battery pack – developed and tested by STIGA in Italy - you have all the power you need to cover a whopping 4000sqm in around an hour. The powerful 1.2kW transaxle motor, and two cutting blade motors totalling 3kW will enable you to reach a top speed of 9.5km/h and will of course leave you with a uniformly neat lawn with the minimum of fuss or effort.

You’re going to love the modern at-a-glance dashboard, eco mode, cruise control and the very practical LED headlights - these features work together to make your job totally stress-less and safer. Being battery operated this Stiga Estate 584e is quieter to work with, much lower on vibrations and of course better for the environment - it’s an absolute pleasure to work with and so convenient. It's quick to start and the motor is extremely reliable, requiring very little in the way of maintenance or repair over its long life.

The excellent Bluetooth APP can work as a dashboard, giving you at-a-glance information on your mowing session, and it also features readouts on previous sessions, CO2 saved, maintenance activities, and smart charge function. You can even contact your dealer directly from the APP for added convenience. The eco-mode reduces blade rotations in light cutting conditions, for increased energy saving wherever it can. From the APP you can also control what time the lawn tractor is charged - allowing you to make the most of your off-peak energy tariff.

The Stiga Estate 584e offers a comfortable ride and allows you to choose between side-discharging the grass or collecting in the capacious 240l grass collector or mulching the grass. Mulching will return vital nutrients back to your lawn giving it the best chance of a green and healthy growth. The cutting width is a generous 98cm and there are a total of 7 cutting heights that range from 25 - 80 mm, allowing you to cut the lawn any way you want. The side discharge function will spread the grass cuttings over your lawn where they will wilt quickly and naturally, and some people prefer this to leaving them to rot on the compost heap.

You’ll find it simple to keep this gorgeous Stiga Estate 584e garden tractor in tip-top condition thanks to the onboard washing link feature (for the first time on a battery operated tractor, actually!). Don’t worry - it’s IP 65 protected which means you can safely clean the cutting deck with an ordinary garden hose, and keeping it clean in this way will prolong its life and ensure that it's ready to go for the next time you need it.

STIGA ePower

Smart, safety tested and synched with STIGA products, ePower is the next generation in batteries. Tests we run on ePower batteries are 5 times tougher than Industry standard requirements, to ensure the highest quality standards in terms of performance, reliability and battery health through time. Our batteries are efficient, as we optimised and secured the position of each individual cell; safe, as we created space to allow air to cool; and smart, as we we developed and tested the electronics and software that controls the cells. They power longer and live longer, thanks to a smart energy management operated by all machines and tools running on interchangeable ePower batteries.

STIGA Smart cutting mode

All STIGA electric tractors, Swift and Gyro are equipped with the STIGA Smart cutting mode function. While mowing, you can adjust the blade speed on 3 different settings, depending on the result you wish to see and on the conditions of the grass you are taking care of. Availabe speeds are Standard, Boost and Eco-Mode (which helps improving energy-efficiency). You can choose the blade speed directly from the dashboard, by simply pushing a button. A green LED-indicator will let you know at which speed you are cutting - you can change it anytime you want, while mowing.

STIGA Smart recharge schedule

When plugging your STIGA electric tractor in the garage or in your garden shed, you might prefer a certain timing for recharge, in order to save money on energy supply: open the STIGA.GO App on your smartphone and choose the Smart recharge schedule function so you can easily schedule a time slot for your tractor to recharge. It will only recharge in the given timeframe.

About Brand

Stiga

Stiga have been associated with garden machinery for well over 80 years. In March 1934, Sweden, Stig Hjelmquist started the company ‘Firma Fabriksprodukter’ which became the foundation of Stiga AB. The original business concept was ‘newsworthy products of good design and good quality, with advertising that is better than our competitors.’ This business concept was designed to permeate through the whole of Stig Hjelmquist’s business life.

In 1938 the company name was changed to Stiga and the very first Stiga table tennis products were produced. In 1943 Stiga were producing table tennis equipment under their own management, but a few years later they began cooperating with the Swedish TableTennis Association.

In 1954 Stig Hjelmquist imported the first motorized lawn mowers with horizontally rotating blades from the US. That became the starting point of Stigas most successful line; garden machinery.

Over the next few years Stiga continued to work on their table tennis line and produced the first table hockey game. But in 1964 they began their own line of lawnmowers which was incredibly successful. Roughly 400 machines were produced every day.

Stiga became established abroad and sales offices were opened in London and Helsinki, Finland. In 1975 Stiga launched the very first Park: Park 2000, a ride on lawn tractor with a front deck which revolutionized grass cutting in Nordic countries

By 1976 Stiga’s new factory was a massive 34,000m2 making it the biggest factory in the Nordic countries producing motor driven lawnmowers.

Stiga became the biggest manufacturer of lawn mowers in Europe by 1986. They introduced the first mower with the Multi-clip technology, and the first radio controlled mower.

By 1997, Stiga were represented in roughly 40 countries, including New Zealand, North America, South America and Eastern Europe.

Now, Stiga are owned by the GGP Group, manufacturer of one of the largest range of lawn mowers and garden machinery in Europe. GGP UK Limited distribute all Stiga garden machinery in the UK.

The quality of Stiga’s machines is second to none. The lawn mowers are built to get the job done efficiently and safely with no fuss and no time wasting. They feature powerful Stiga engines or other well known top brands such as Briggs and Stratton or Honda. The range includes hand pushed models and self propelled machines to choose from.

Ride-On Mowers - We charge a minimum rate of £69.00 (for smaller garden riders) and £79.00 (for garden tractors) for all Start 'N' Go orders. This service is available to most mainland England and Wales postcodes. We cannot currently offer this service to any Scottish postcodes.

Everything else - We charge a minimum rate of £29.00 for all Start 'N' Go orders which are being sent to UK mainland addresses (England, Wales and some Scottish addresses*).

START 'N' GO +

Our premium Start 'N' Go+ service is available on certain products to most of England and Wales. Products that receive this service will be assembled, tested and personally delivered by one of our team on our own transport. We will also fully demonstrate the product for you.
