The Henchman 5-Step Telescopic Platform comes with a telescopic frame and a variable height spacious platform, and four reinforced legs, all of which can be independently adjusted to provide a stable surface when at height.
Safety is a top priority here at Henchman. The ATTP is robust, made from high tensile aluminium and auto-locking pins to keep the adjustable legs in place once positioned. It’s also Kitemark EN131-7-certified by BSI - the leading safety standard for mobile ladders with platforms.
No task is off limits with the Henchman 5-Step Platform. Versatility is at the core of our platform’s design. The telescopic platform allows you to work on jobs big and small, and independently adjustable legs for uneven ground ensure that you and your team stay safe at all times - no matter the terrain.
When we say All Terrain, we mean it. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, this working platform is ideal for landscaping, decorating and repair tasks, among others. The legs can be adjusted independently for uneven or soft ground, such as slopes and steps verges, creating a level platform that allows you to tackle any terrain.
Unlike a traditional ladder, you won’t need to frequently climb up and down to move your platform from section to section, helping to save time and maximising efficiency throughout each day. The ATTP can be assembled in seconds - faster and simpler than scaffolding platforms.
Meticulously engineered for easy transport, the Henchman 5-Step is designed to pack down into a highly compact format that can be transported inside the van with no need for roof racks. Even the guard rail and transport wheels tuck away into the ladder frame to minimise storage size.
Our sherpascopic platform is strong and durable, perfect for transporting your ATTP from job to job. For ease, the platform can be folded down flat in seconds and loaded into most vehicles. As an example, the ATTP 3 can fit inside a VW Caddy Cargo, while the ATTP 5 is the ideal size for a Transporter. This eliminates the need for a roof rack and speeds up the pack-down process.
The collapsible design is ideal for storage, too. Compared to other telescopic platforms on the market, the All Terrain Telescopic Platform is lightweight and wheels come attached, so you can easily manoeuvre it across spaces without needing help. And when it comes to packing down, don’t worry about the wheels bulking up the space - they can be folded down flat, too.
The ATTP is independently certified to EN131-7, meaning you can use your Henchman with confidence and in compliance with health and safety legislation. Our platform has been rigorously tested to meet industry safety standards -read about EN 131 here or speak to us to see our certificate.
The All Terrain Telescopic Platform is designed for versatility, so we’ve designed two models that can be extended to various heights. These figures are based on a 6ft / 1.8m person standing on the top platform.

Henchman are a family owned business who have recently entered their 21st year under the ownership and management of the second generation.
Tom Kitching bought the family business in 2009 after spending many years working within various different departments of the company, from QC and packing, to IT and marketing, to which now he manages the business.
Mike Kitching started the Henchman business back in 1994 after having a fall from a ladder, which inspired the concept of a safe hedge cutting platform. He scribbled down his idea on the back of an envelope and handed it to his son, Tom. At the time Tom was still doing his GCSE’s, one of which in woodwork. He started design work on the safe cutting platforms in his lessons and created a whole range for the innovative idea.
Today, the Henchman range is full of innovative designs that offer a safer alternative to normal ladders. The Hi-Step Platforms, the Wheeled Garden Platforms, and the Platform Tripod Ladders are just a select few of the Henchman products that we sell. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed on the following Monday (or Tuesday if a bank holiday). You will be contacted by the Transport Company 'Palletline' to book your delivery in. Ride-On Mowers - We charge a minimum rate of £69.00 (for smaller garden riders) and £79.00 (for garden tractors) for all Start 'N' Go orders. This service is available to most mainland England and Wales postcodes. We cannot currently offer this service to any Scottish postcodes.
Everything else - We charge a minimum rate of £29.00 for all Start 'N' Go orders which are being sent to UK mainland addresses (England, Wales and some Scottish addresses*).
Our premium Start 'N' Go+ service is available on certain products to most of England and Wales. Products that receive this service will be assembled, tested and personally delivered by one of our team on our own transport. We will also fully demonstrate the product for you. Delivery is usually 3-5 working days (if ordered Mon-Fri, stock permitting) but during quieter times this can be much sooner. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed on the following Monday (or Tuesday if a bank holiday). We will contact you to book your delivery in. Please ensure you provide a daytime contact number on your order.
