The lack of a collecting bag is a real bonus with this model. You will find it’s more comfortable to operate and of course the lawn mower isn’t going to get heavier as you work! The two most important reasons to mulch instead of collecting have to be that firstly you won’t have piles of grass rotting on your compost heap (and in smaller gardens you might not even have a compost heap!) and also the mulched grass is a fantastic fertiliser for your grass as the mulched grass is rich in the required nutrients - free and much better for the planet as it’s 100% organic with no chemicals and no plastic packaging. You’ll save money, time and effort all at once!
With its exceptional build quality this Grin HM37 mulching mower will really go the distance and will prove to be a wise investment. The generous and extra sharp 37cm cutting blade makes this mulching lawn mower perfect for outdoor spaces up to 400 m2 in size. The chassis is well built and designed to work hard in difficult situations. If your ground is particularly rocky or uneven then you can purchase the optional engine protection cone - this protects the engine and prolongs its life.
The proven muscular Grin chassis holds and protects the industry all-time favourite engine, the powerful and reliable Briggs & Stratton 675 series, 163 cc engine with Ready Start for an easy start up. This powerhouse of an engine provides you with all the capacity you need to get your lawn looking neat and tidy. With 4 cutting heights that range from 35mm - 70mm you have lots of options when it comes to cutting varying lengths of grass. Aimed at both the domestic or the professional gardener, this Grin HM37 is versatile and easy to operate.
This Grin HM37 mulching mower might be the smallest and lightest of the internal combustion engine range but don’t be fooled! It still features all the structural advantages of all GRIN lawn mowers, such as a sturdy 3 mm thick mowing deck, reinforced by a tubular frame, steel wheels with double ball bearing, centralised height adjustment lever, quick anti-vibration handlebar regulators, 25 mm handlebar, as well as a patented Grin blade to ensure maximum mowing efficiency. The Mow ‘n’ Stow feature allows you to store this lawn mower vertically allowing for increased shed space.
For added convenience there are four cutting heights to choose from which means that you can select the correct height to suit the length of your grass. At the end of the day a feature that’s going to come in really helpful is the Mow ‘n’ Stow which allows the lawn mower to be stored vertically. This means it can fit into a smaller space in your shed and also means you can tuck it away out of harm’s way.
The mowed grass remains suspended for a few fractions of a second inside the patented Grin mowing deck. It is centrifuged and pulverized, thanks to the vortex created by the patented Grin bladecombined with the effect of a Grin helix disc
In this way the grass loses most of its volume and is pulverized into tiny little and virtually invisible particles. These particles fall directly onto the soil (they do not remain on the surface of the lawn!) and are absorbed in a very short time.
GRIN optimally processes the grass inside the mowing deck, pulverizing everything into extremely fine particles, which become an excellent fertilizer for your lawn!
The patented mowing system – MOWING, NO GRASS BAG, NO WASTE – developed by Grin is also effective with leaves. The leaves are ground inside the mowing deck and transformed into fertilizer for your lawn.
If the leaves are fine ground by the GRIN system, they become an excellent nourishment for the lawn because they are rich of carbon. The night humidity and the microorganisms of the terrain help the absorption, so that the soil becomes more fertile and consequently more beautiful.
In this way, there is no need to waste time and effort in collecting the leaves and disposing of them.
The patented Grin system - MOWING, NO GRASS BAG, NO WASTE - must not be mistaken for the CONVENTIONAL MULCHING mowing system. Both systems are based on bag-less mowing, but were developed to meet different needs.
The main differences between the two systems are:
- MOWING HEIGHT AND FREQUENCY: With Grin it is possible to maintain the same mowing height and mowing frequency as with a grass bag type mower.
- GRASS PULVERISATION: In standard mowing conditions, Grin pulverises grass into very fine fragments, which are deposited on the soil and absorbed as fertiliser.
- MOWING WET GRASS: With Grin it is possible to mow wet grass much better than with a grass bag type mower.

Everything else - We charge a minimum rate of £29.00 for all Start 'N' Go orders which are being sent to UK mainland addresses (England, Wales and some Scottish addresses*).
Our premium Start 'N' Go+ service is available on certain products to most of England and Wales.
