The Cobra SA40E is an electric scarifier/aerator, ideal if you have lots of raking, forking and scraping to do in your garden. Ideal for all types of gardens but especially useful for when you are trying to get your lawn in shape.

The Cobra SA40E is equipped with a high powered 1800w motor which drives the 40cm working width, its easy to maintain and ideal for when you want to quickly remove moss, weeds, thatch and other types of debris from your lawn.
Even if you only use this once a month you will see that your grass has more room to grow, as you will be improving water, essential nutrients and oxygen penetration which will enable better quality and stronger roots.
The Cobra SA40E is easy to use and comes with a combined 2-in-1 blade and tine drum with a working depth of -12mm - +8mm, which is height adjustable through four settings via an easy to use single lever.
Being powered by electricity, you won’t need to worry about filling it up with fuel or charging up a battery, it comes complete with a very long 10-meter cable which should enable you to reach the end of your garden with no problem at all. Simply plug it in and you’re ready to start - less hassle and much quicker.
The debris you collect is efficiently collected in the robust 40-litre collector bag. The fabric has been specially designed to give a strong free flow of air which results in a more compact and comprehensive collection so you will find that the collector holds more debris than you may think of at first.
Cobra design their products to be easy to use for the operator and the SA40E electric lawn scarifier is certainly no exception. All the controls are quite literally at your fingertips and have been ergonomically positioned to be comfortable and safe to use.
Cobra provides you with a 2-year warranty on this product.
Unfortunately, we are still experiencing occasions where customers are starting their machine for its first use without detaching the scarifier cartridge from the underneath of the machine resulting in the drive belt snapping. The cartridge is attached with two cable ties purely for transportation purposes.
There are warnings on the packaging, and the operator's manual details how to remove the cartridge, but machines are still being returned with this issue.
Failure to follow these warnings will damage the scarifier and will void the warranty.

Ride-On Mowers - We charge a minimum rate of £69.00 (for smaller garden riders) and £79.00 (for garden tractors) for all Start 'N' Go orders. This service is available to most mainland England and Wales postcodes. We cannot currently offer this service to any Scottish postcodes.
Everything else - We charge a minimum rate of £29.00 for all Start 'N' Go orders which are being sent to UK mainland addresses (England, Wales and some Scottish addresses*).
Our premium Start 'N' Go+ service is available on certain products to most of England and Wales. Products that receive this service will be assembled, tested and personally delivered by one of our team on our own transport. We will also fully demonstrate the product for you. Delivery is usually 3-5 working days (if ordered Mon-Fri, stock permitting) but during quieter times this can be much sooner.
