This strong CMX2406 is Canycom’s toughest ever ride-on brushcutter, thanks in no small part to the whole steel body, high grass gathering bumper and hard-to-flat tyres. It’s obvious just from first glance, this machine is built for use over extended periods of time, or as Canycom states, all-day use if you want. It comes packed with safety features to satisfy even the most worrisome of professionals, including foldable ROPS and slope warning system.
Thanks to the unique shaft drive on this ride-on brushcutter 100% of engine power is delivered to the blades, unlike belt-driven machines that do not deliver the full engine power, ensuring that this Canycom CMX2406 ride-on brushcutter can cut through even thicker and tougher vegetation. The ROPS safety feature is there to protect the user in the event that the machine either rolls over or tips over in an accident. It can be folded down or retracted when not in use or during transport, making the machinery more compact or easier to store.
The blades are easy to replace, sharp and durable and we were actually very impressed to learn that they are made from the same steel engineered for use in Samurai swords. The metal is folded, forged, tempered and quenched repeatedly to achieve a special linear grain. This centuries old Japanese process gives the blades unrivalled strength and endurance. Now that’s something to boast about! These blades are also easy to remove thanks to the Quick Change blade system - now you can change the blades wherever you are, even out in the field as you won’t need any tools.
You can choose from high and low gear which allows you to travel safely over uneven ground but pick up speed if you need to on open flat ground. This is simply operated by a single foot pedal. The low operator position means you can safely cut around obstacles and under low trees and the fully adjustable steering wheel angle and height, along with a three-way adjustable seat means you can travel in style and comfort whatever situation you find yourself working in.

ROPS is a safety feature designed to protect the operator in the event of a rollover or tip-over accident. A "foldable ROPS" can be folded down or retracted when not in use or during transport, making the machinery more compact or easier to store. When needed for safety, it can be unfolded or extended to provide the necessary rollover protection for the operator. This feature is especially valuable for equipment that may need to pass through tight spaces or be transported on trailers.
CANYCOM brushcutters boast blades with the same steel engineered for use in Samurai swords, offering outstanding strength and durability. Blades are created through a complex process, which involves metal being folded, forged, tempered and quenched repeatedly to achieve a special linear grain. This technique has evolved over centuries in Japan and, just like legendary Samurai Swords, gives the blades unrivalled strength and endurance.
Common feedback we had from customers after purchasing a ride-on brushcutter was regarding the task of changing blades. Difficulty removing old blades, from rusting and warping made removal of bolts difficult and special tools were required to replace blades in the field. To resolve these issues, a Quick Change blade system was introduced. With these blades, no tools are necessary, and blades can be changed with ease and speed – even in the field.
A unique shaft-driven system means 100% of engine power is delivered to the blades. Compared to belt-driven machines that do not deliver the full engine power, the CANYCOM can cut through taller and thicker vegetation.
Shaft drive is also far more reliable than belt drive, eliminating the frustration of having to replace expensive belts, which commonly break in extreme cutting conditions. A combination of powerful shaft drive and ultra-tough blades produces a solution for the toughest conditions that no other mowers of this type can handle.

Further stability is provided with the option to switch to four-wheel drive and engage a rear diff-lock, offering support in a range of conditions. In addition to foot pedals, there’s also the option of driving the machine with a hand control, which may be preferable in steeper situations.
Brushcutters also benefit from an efficient hydro and mechanical drive system, utilising all available horsepower while providing ease of use, simply operated by a single foot pedal. The drivetrain has a high and low range to best adjust your ground speed to your cutting conditions. This allows you to travel at maximum speed for open flat ground, or use low range to gear down for ultimate power to the 4WD system.
With an extremely low operator position you can safely cut around obstacles and under low trees. An optimum position for the operator is achieved thanks to a fully adjustable steering wheel angle and height, along with a three-way adjustable seat.
The CMX2406 also features an excellent cutting system with a 21 incremental cutting height system to ensure great cutting results of up to 6 inches on tall brush and shrubbery. With a larger cutting with of 975 mm and 2 adjustable blades; the CMX2406 provides a quick and effective cutting performance.
