The new Atco Classic 20S petrol lawn mower offers a winning combination of power, reliability and the finest cut - with its robust steel chassis you are guaranteed that this lawn mower will give you many years of reliable and hardworking service. With a generous 51cm cutting width, a robust steel chassis and large rear 200/280mm grooved wheels on ball bearings, means that this lawn mower is perfect for larger gardens.
Being self-propelled you won’t need to push and therefore this model really excels in undulating terrain and sloping areas. The powerful and utterly reliable STIGA ST170 auto choke engine is easy to start and offers you all the umph you need to get your grass looking its best. The ergonomic handlebars make your life much easier, especially when you need to mow intensively over longer periods of time. A skid plate is fitted at the front of the cutter deck - so you can be assured of the best possible finish on your lawn and the risk of scalping on uneven surfaces is vastly reduced.
You can cut the lawn anyway you want thanks to the easy to use, centralised cutting height lever. From here you can choose from six cutting heights that range from 22 - 80 mm allowing you to cut the grass to your requirements no matter how long or short it is. For example, that first cut after the winter usually requires quite a high setting - but maintaining short grass throughout the growing seasons often requires a much lower setting.
The outstanding Atco Classic 20S allows you to choose various ways of collecting the grass cuttings. You can choose to collect the grass cuttings in the spacious 60 litre grass collector which features a grass-box “full” alarm and is really easy to empty or remove for when you want to rear-discharge or mulch. Mulching the grass means that you will add vital nutrients back to your lawn giving it a great chance of growing green and lush. If you are in a hurry and don’t mind the grass being left on your lawn then you can choose to rear-discharge the cuttings.
The adjustable handlebar on this petrol-powered Atco Classic 20S petrol powered lawn mower comes within a soft grip for user comfort and is ergonomically designed to offer the modern hard working gardener a more comfortable mowing experience. Self-propelled so you won’t need to push, this hard working lawn mower keeps a steady pace at just 3.7 Km/h. The handlebar actually folds down for easy storage and for when space is at a premium in your shed.
This Atco Classic 20S is aimed at larger lawns of up to around 650 ㎡ and has been fitted out with an onboard washing link to ensure it as easy as possible for you to keep the underneath clean and free of debris. This will prolong the life of your lawn mower, and will ensure that it gives you a long and reliable service for many years to come.

Atco dedicated mulching tractors are a great alternative if you don’t want to collect grass cuttings. Ride-On Mowers - We charge a minimum rate of £69.00 (for smaller garden riders) and £79.00 (for garden tractors) for all Start 'N' Go orders. This service is available to most mainland England and Wales postcodes. We cannot currently offer this service to any Scottish postcodes.
Everything else - We charge a minimum rate of £29.00 for all Start 'N' Go orders which are being sent to UK mainland addresses (England, Wales and some Scottish addresses*).
Our premium Start 'N' Go+ service is available on certain products to most of England and Wales. Products that receive this service will be assembled, tested and personally delivered by one of our team on our own transport. We will also fully demonstrate the product for you. Delivery is usually 3-5 working days (if ordered Mon-Fri, stock permitting) but during quieter times this can be much sooner. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed on the following Monday (or Tuesday if a bank holiday). We will contact you to book your delivery in. Please ensure you provide a daytime contact number on your order.
