In the UK, 55 women are diagnosed and 21 die each and every day from a gynaecological cancer – yet funding and awareness of these diseases remains low. The Eve Appeal are determined to change this and fight women’s cancers by funding research focused on developing effective methods of risk prediction, earlier detection, and improved treatment and care that will ultimately save women’s lives not only in the UK but around the world.
The Eve Appeal was firsat launched in 2002 and is the only national UK charity dedicated to funding world-class research and raising awareness of all five gynaecological cancers (womb, ovarian, cervical, vulval and vaginal). In support of the Eve Appeal, lawn mower manufacturer, Allett, have made 22 pink lawn mowers and have sold 20 of them to garden machinery dealers. All the money they raise will be donated to the Eve Appeal.
Allett tell us these spectacular pink machines will never be repeated, so there will only ever be 22 made.

The mower itself is a pink version of the already popular Allett Sandringham 14E. It creates classic lines at ease with the electric power featuring the advanced Qc cassette system.

Built to provide years of service, the Allett Sandringham 14E lawn mower has a removable 5 bladed steel cutting cylinder, a stainless steel front roller and self-propulsion. The variable speed control dial allows you to choose your preferred mowing speed, making turning and manoeuvring around borders easy.
Powered by a 420 Watt energy efficient motor, the Allett Sandringham 14E has a generous 75 feet of cable allowing access to most areas of the garden and a large capacity grassbox to minimise emptying trips.
Adjustable static turf rake fitted as standard for improved cutting performance and lawn finish. Simple, five-position hand-dial adjustment of cutting heights between 6-32mm (1/4”-1 ¼”) to suit the season and grass growth conditions. The motor is also fitted with thermal protection.
