Pulverize grass and improve your lawn thanks to the patented mowing system
Grin lawnmowers are a step above most brands thanks to their patented design. They are born to mulch and wow do they put other mulching lawn mowers in the shade! They come with their own unique features and are designed to offer the ultimate mulching experience. The patented Grin system – MOWING, NO GRASS BAG, NO WASTE – must not be mistaken for the CONVENTIONAL MULCHING mowing system. Both systems are based on bag-less mowing, but were developed to meet different needs.
For example; with GRIN lawnmowers you can still cut the lawn as little or as often as you would with a lawnmower with a collector bag – this is a bonus as with a conventional mulching lawn mower you would need to keep your grass really short at all times to achieve the same result. Another highly sought after feature is the Grin’s unique ability to quite literally pulverise the grass into a barely seen mulch – with other brands you’ll find the mower often leaves clumps of grass which are difficult to break down and when left in parcels of dark green grass on your lawn it can look unsightly.
The Grin mulching system however is second to none and will cut your grass to the very finest degree and deposit it onto your lawn where it will break down quickly and act as a nutrient rich fertiliser.
When compared to a grass collecting lawn mower you’ll discover that the GRIN lawnmowers cope far better when faced with damp or even wet grass. With a conventional mulching lawn mower, often the compact size of the mowing deck hampers your efforts to effectively mow the lawn in damper conditions. Of course, the lack of a collecting bag is always a win for the busy gardener. The lawn mower is easier to manage and of course there will be no more arduous trips to the compost heap to dump the grass.

You’ll find that the mowing deck is around 30% higher than conventional mulching machines. Grin has designed the shape and the position of the blade to ensure that the mowing deck is about 50% larger than most other mulching lawn mowers – allowing you to work faster and for longer periods of time as the Grin lawnmower performs much better and won’t be easily overloaded even when mowing medium-tall grass.
It’s important to note that the GRIN mowing system is made up of a patented blade with a unique shape and expertly crafted from a special material. The blade is assembled with a patented helix disc in a specific position inside the mowing deck. Grin have designed these two components, combined with the shape of the mowing deck, to create a vortex with centrifugal effect, which keeps the grass suspended in the air for a long time to be pulverised in fine particles. This extremely effective system is just one of the many reasons that the Grin is considered to be the ultimate mulching lawn mower.
RECYCLE grass to transform it into fertilizer
A traditional mulching lawn mower usually features a much inferior curved blade that although it cuts the grass into several segments it is still not as effective as the Grin system and actually if the length of grass being mown exceeds 8-10cm then these cut segments will indeed remain visible for a long time on your lawn. The larger the clumps, the longer they are going to take to break down, and the less effective they will be as a grass fertiliser. With GRIN lawnmowers the mulched grass is so very fine it won’t hang around on your lawn for long, and instead will get on with being absorbed into your soil where it will work at keeping your lawn green, lush and healthy.

Grin lawnmowers are aimed at professionals thanks to their 3 mm thick steel frame and mowing deck, the engine protection cone for accidental impact, the professional tractions, the steel wheels, the centralised mowing height adjustment, the foldable handlebar are just some of the strengths. They are built to work in harsher conditions and designed to last you a very long time, making them a very wise investment.
The GRIN lawnmowers range comes with a wide range of models to choose from, to suit your needs and while their price tag may be slightly above a conventional model’s price range, it’s important to note that the Grin’s patented design offers you a wealth of robust and expertly designed features and will give you many, many years of satisfying and exemplary mowing and of course an excellent finish.
