The HRN 536 VK has been built to last and offers class-leading collection performance. It’s easy to operate and it’s top features include Smart Drive® control and Versamow™ Selective Mulching.
The HRN 536 VY is a durable and easy to use lawn mower, and has all the features of the VK model but also has Roto-Stop® control.
We love the Roto-Stop® feature, (available only on the HRN 536 VY), a system that allows you to stop the blades from turning without turning off the engine. This is helpful for when you need to move the lawn mower from one area to another, over a path or gravel for instance or for when you need to empty the bag. So, pause whenever you like, and you won’t need to restart the engine thanks to this convenient feature.
Both lawn mowers feature a powerful and reliable world class Honda GCVx 170 167 cc engine and a generous fuel tank capacity of 0.91. They run on unleaded petrol and both are very efficient on fuel. Aimed at larger gardens they are both capable of maintaining lawns up to the size of two tennis courts.
The Smart Drive® feature has been ergonomically designed to control the speed effectively. The enhanced thumb grips give you fingertip control so that you can adjust the speed with increased accuracy – now you can set the pace to suit yourself and the conditions you are working in.

The cutter deck itself has been improved; and now enables a more efficient cutting and collecting experience.
These HRN models from Honda can easily adapt to the conditions of your grass; with a total of seven cutting heights they give you the perfect finish every time. It’s simply to select your desired height from one side of the lawn mower. You can choose from a ultra-low height of 27mm right up to a whopping 100mm, allowing you to maintain anything from a manicured lawn to an unloved, overgrown garden.
As every garden worth his or her salt knows, mulching is an important and essential part of lawn care. If you don’t mulch at various points throughout the year, then you will need to feed your lawn with extra products, taking up more time, energy, not to mention the additional costs.
With Honda’s Versamow™ Selective System the integrated mulching capability allows you to simply mulch the grass and disperse it across your lawn where it will sit, barely noticed and wilt down adding vital nutrients to your lawn, giving it the best chance of a green and lush growth. This is quicker than collecting it too, as you won’t need to empty the collecting bag.
