With a fantastic brand new Stiga brushcutter range available, you can be sure that your garden is going to look the best it’s ever looked this summer.
Grass trimmers (strimmers) and brushcutters are one of the most useful tools for a domestic or commercial gardener to have.
Trimmers are absolutely crucial for creating a perfectly neat lawn edge and for trimming hard to reach areas that mowers simply can’t get. Brushcutters are used for clearing grass, small bushes and undergrowth as they’re much more robust and stronger than grass trimmers.
The new Stiga range of trimmers and brushcutters provides all the necessary things needed for giving your garden that final touch it needs. They are incredibly well balanced making it even easier to concentrate on the task at hand. With 10 new machines in the range, there’s plenty of variety when it comes to choosing the ideal strimmer or brushcutter for you and your garden.
The range starts with a basic model SGT 226 J which is priced at an incredible £109.00, and ends with the high spec SBC 653 KD priced at £439.00.
All models sport powerful reliable engines. Those on the lower end of the spectrum feature a Stiga 2-stroke 25.4cc engine, such as the SGT 226 J, SBC 226 J and the SBC 226 JD. These models are all differentiated by their shaft and handle options. The SGT 226 J has a bent shaft with a D loop handle, whereas the other two come with a straight shaft and the SBC 226 J has a D loop handle whilst the SBC 226 JD has a bike type handle.
There are five models sporting a Kawasaki engine, all of different specification. The baby of the range is the SBC 627 K which has a Kawasaki 2 Stroke 26.3cc engine, a straight shaft and a D loop handle all for £309.00. The top bruschutter with a Kawasaki engine is the SBC 653 KD with 53.2cc. It features a straight shaft with a bike-type handle. The other three models that fall into the Kawasaki engine category all similarly have bike-type handles with a straight shaft as they are designed for more of a commercial use.
The final two new Stiga trimmers have ultra reliable Honda 4 Stroke 25.0cc engines powering them. The SBC 425 H has the D-loop handle for £409.00 whilst the SBC 425 HD features a bike type handle for £429.00. They both have a sturdy straight shaft.
