Introducing the new Stiga 700 Range of Cordless Garden Tools

Coming soon to Just Lawnmowers is the amazing new cordless Stiga 700 range of cordless garden tools! We are very excited as they have been designed with all the latest technology and feature top-of-the-range designs – just as you have come to expect from a top brand such as Stiga.

Stiga have really pushed the boat on their brand new range – not only have they taken the time to design some fantastic products but the batteries that power them have also been designed for very specific tasks. They have been tested at a full, ‘real-life’ usage current that goes way beyond the common, but less demanding, Industry Standard test!

This is great news for all gardeners because finally Stiga have made a stand and set their own standards, and all we can say is WOW, they certainly set them high. It’s great to hear that Stiga has fully invested in cordless power as we all know we cannot and must not continue to rely on fossil fuels – especially in our everyday lives.

So whether you are a fully committed eco-warrior or just want the peace of mind that comes with giving up on petrol powered machinery, then take a look at their range, there’s bound to be a product to suit your needs.

No fumes, no starting problems, no restrictive power lead. All of the products are powered by one class leading 48 volt lithium-ion battery. One battery, multiple tools.

So, we thought we’d take this chance to introduce you to 3 of Stiga’s new 700 series products!

First up we have the Stiga Combi 748 Q AE Cordless Lawn Mower. This top-quality lawn mower is quick and easy to operate and uses only the minimum of energy thanks to its “eco-mode”. It offers a 4-in-1 system so you can cut, collect, mulch or discharge with the greatest of ease. It has a 60 litre grass collector and a durable 46 cm galvanised metal blade, therefore you can cover a lot of ground in no time at all. The batteries are available separately but with two of the recommended STIGA E-Power E 450 (5Ah) batteries  the Stiga Combi 748 Q AE can easily tackle up to 550sqm in 25 minutes. This is a highly recommended lawn mower, easy to use and packed with features and plenty of run time to allow you to get your lawn mowed with no stops or starts.

Secondly we have the Stiga SBC 700 D AE Cordless Grass Trimmer. We love this model because it’s the very first ‘bike’ handle style cordless brush cutter in the STIGA battery range and offers you plenty of control at all times. And this design not only allows you to achieve a great finish, but also means that there is less strain on your joints and back. The battery and charger can be bought separately but Stiga suggests you use the E-Power 440 48V 4Ah battery as together with the advanced 500W brushless motor, you can expect to get up to 60 minutes of continuous cutting.  This grass trimmer only weighs 5.5kg, but that does not mean it won’t be able to cut through rough vegetation; it simply means it’s easier to work with. We also love the LED pad which gives you all the information and controls that you need right there, at your fingertips.

Thirdly we have the Stiga SPH 700 AE Cordless Hedge Trimmer. Perfectly balanced this cordless hedge trimmer is perfect at reaching those awkward spots with ease and grace! The battery is available separately and Stiga suggests the 48V 2.0Ah battery – developed and tested by STIGA in Italy is ideal for the SPH 700 AE as it gives around 40 minutes of trimming time on a single charge. As you are probably aware, being cordless gives you the ultimate chance of freedom to work anywhere – whether that’s at the end of a very long garden or up at your allotment. This hedge trimmer weighs just 6.1kg which is really light for such a powerful machine. The shaft is encased in rubber to ensure vibrations are kept to an all time low. Robust and hard working this is the perfect machine for dealing with overgrown hedges and tough, hard-to-reach branches.

We’ve got lots of products in stock from the new Stiga 700 range, why not take a look!
