Reach High with Henchman Platforms

We’ve recently added the Henchman platform range to our website which includes wheeled platforms, tripod platforms and hi-step platforms. Now you can reach high with Henchman platforms.

Henchman Hi-Step Platforms:

There are five Hi-Step platforms in the range, the Maxi, the Major, the Senior, the Midi and the Junior.

Hi-step platforms are incredibly safe as you are enclosed by guard rails, keeping your centre of gravity within the splayed footprint.

If you struggle with soft ground, the large flat feet pivot on their own accord to the contour of the ground, stopping the platform form from sinking.

These 2′ x 2′ non slip platforms are always level and stable because each leg adjusts individually (up to 2′), to compensate for dips, bumps, slopes and steps.  Quick Adjust feet allow for minute increment adjustments, meaning no wobble at all.  A feature that is unique to Henchman.

All five platforms in this range have a variable platform height of 2′ thanks to the adjustable legs. Also, you can work from thigh height up to shoulder height, adding further to the range of heights reachable from one platform.

The framework is made from aluminium and therefore incredibly lightweight.  The legs are steel out of necessity for strength and rigidity.

Folding a platform for storage or transportation requires no tools and takes about 20 seconds.

Henchman Tri-Pod Platforms:

There are twelve tri-pod platforms and three professional tri-pod platforms in this range.

All of these tripod ladders come with a wide platform step which safely supports the whole foot leaving the top 3ft of the ladder to lean against. It also allows you to tuck your knees in, increasing your stability and brace yourself against the inside of the verticals.

The feet are designed specifically for softer ground and greatly reduce the risk of slipping or sinking on wet or soft soils. Their width spreads the weight and inverted cup design “grips” the ground. For slippery surfaces they can be fitted with optional rubber shoes which also work well to protect flooring when used inside.

Having three legs also allows greater access in difficult areas which is why they are ideal for fruit picking and topiary work as well as pruning and light hedge trimming.

This range of ladders are made of high grade aluminium, fully welded under ISO 9001-2000 conditions. The standard version is designed for a 100kg maximum safe working load whereas the Professional version increases this to 150kg. In spite of this the Tripod Ladder is surprisingly lightweight.  This makes carrying, transporting and storing, a job for one person and makes using it the simplest of chores.

 Henchman Wheeled Platforms:

There are two wheeled platforms in this range, thje “55” or the “76”.

These are ideal if you have a lot of hedge to cut and have clear access to it. There is no quicker way of getting a long stretch of hedge cut safely.

With guard rails, you can lean out across them without any fear of toppling over for added safety and peace of mind. This also allows you to have both hands free so that you can reach more, and save time by finishing faster.

With large flat feet, they will not sink into any soft soils providing even more stability. You can even micro-adjust each leg to achieve an absolutely level and stable work surface, even on sloping, uneven garden ground.
