It&#8217;s often a good idea to turn any of the dead leaves and foliage into compost if possible.<\/p>\n<p>It is a great idea to clean and weed your garden paths before spraying them with an organic weed killer to keep away any unwanted growth. By cleaning and weeding all paths now, you are saving yourself a huge job next spring when you finally get back into the gardening which you&#8217;ve left over the icy winter months.<\/p>\n<p>The months of September and October are ideal for if you&#8217;re wanting to expand any of your garden, or to have a total overhaul with new plants. In fact, autumn is the best time of year to do so as plants can make an incredibly strong start and &#8216;bed in&#8217; before the cold weather hits and begins to make life difficult for them.
