Agri-Fab Walk-Behind Spike Aerators provide an environmentally friendly alternative to powered models. They use a series of rotating star-shaped tines that slice into the soil to allow seed, fertilizer, water, air, light and nutrients to reach the grass roots. Aerating should be done when the lawn's moisture content is high. 

This easy to push model has a 16" working width and five 7" spike wheels. An aeration depth up to 2.5" is achievable. The steel weight tray is designed to hold a concrete block and no tools are required for assembly.
