Mountfield 1228M Garden Rider Tractor

Fitted with an 11.5hp Briggs and Stratton Engine it performs efficiently in all working conditions with power to spare. The 5 speed manual transmission on the 1228M garden rider tractor features a 'soft start' clutch for smooth engagement every time the clutch is released.

Like all mountfield rider tractors, the controls are laid out in a clear and logical way for use. Driver comfort is also assured with an adjustable, high back seat.

Grass clippings are discharged to the rear of the machine, this keeps the overall width to a mere 30'' (76cm) inches whilst increasing collection efficiency over traditional systems.

The 170 litre capacity rear mounted collector can be emptied from the driving position. An audible alarm notifies the operator when the collector is full and resets automatically when it has been emptied.

A powerful 28'' (72cm) inch working width rear discharge cutter deck ensures perfect grass cutting and collection whatever the conditions.

Garden debris such as fallen leaves and pine needles can also be collected. It also features a deck wash facility that utilises any hose with snap on connector.
