ELIET NEO ELECTRIC SHREDDEREliet introduce a completely new concept in garden waste management with the innovative Neo Series of garden shredders. Designed around the principle of making operation for the user as safe and efficient as possible, every aspect of design has been scrutinised to achieve optimum results in the garden; from the see-through shredding chamber to the fold away, space saving transport wheels; the Neo Series of garden shredders set new standards of performance and design. The standard Neo is the entry level model in the Neo range, perfectly suited to those of you with small to medium sized gardens requiring a shredder capable of processing a complete mix of waste materials ranging from soft kitchen waste and fallen leaves through to fibrous hedge trimmings and pruning debris. A twin set of shredding discs comprising 12 blades in total meet the material to be mulched head on, creating the unique Eliet Chopping Principle which works in a similar way to a hatchet splitting a log; this Chopping Principle bruises the shredded material, preparing it perfectly for rapid decomposition. A spacious shredding chamber manufactured from glass-fibre reinforced hi-tech plastic composite allows for optimum chip flow and faster shredding whilst the transparent shredding chamber window gives the operator a clear view of the shredding process; blockages and worn blades can be spotted in advance to prevent damage and unnecessary ware and tear. Should maintenance be necessary the transparent window can easily be removed to access the blades for reversal or sharpening. A clover shaped feed intake opening situated at a comfortable level assures safe feeding of waste material of up to 3cm in diameter; reduced in size for safety reasons and shaped to allow easy feeding of heavily branched twigs, the intake will rotate to simplify feeding further still. To prevent the time consuming task of collecting mulched material from ground level a convenient 50 litre transparent collection box is situated neatly beneath the calibrated shredding screen; uniform size mulch chips are guaranteed. A contactless magnetic safety switch prevents the shredder from operating when the box is removed. Maximum power is guaranteed from the 2500 watt motor due to the aerodynamically designed air intake aperture which provides sufficient cooling; low noise and minimal vibration levels are achieved thanks to the motor being suspended with vibration absorbing rubber silencers. Transportation and storage are merged into one easy to use system; 25cm cast aluminium transportation wheels with 6.5 cm rubber tyres are attached to an ergonomic wheel-frame handle; simply fold the handle on itself to halve the necessary storage space.
