Available with a 15 or 18 inch bar, the new Husqvarna 440E has a 41cc X-TORQ engine with Smart Start and tool free chain tensioning. This lightweight and efficient all-round saw is ideal for those looking for a chainsaw that is exceptionally easy to start and manoeuvre. It features the X-TORQ engine for lower fuel consumption and reduced emission levels. Air Injection and a centrifugal air cleaning system gives longer intervals between filter cleanings for smoother operation and reduced wear and it has a snap lock cylinder cover that saves time when cleaning filters or changing spark plugs. With Smart Start the engine and starter have been designed so the machine starts quickly with minimum effort as resistance in the starter cord is reduced by up to 40%. The fuel pump also reduces the number of pulls required and the combined choke/stop control allows for easier starting and reduces the risk of engine flooding. The tool less chain tensioning allows for quick and easy chain tensioning and assembly of the bar and the chain without using any tools. It has an inertia activated brake that should activate the chain brake instantly if a kick back occurs and the LowVib vibration dampening absorbs vibration, sparing the user's arms and hands.
